Senior appointments further strengthen Pharmaceutical Profiles scientific
expertise
29 November 2007: Nottingham, UK: Dr Andrew Rankin joins
Pharmaceutical Profiles (Nottingham, UK) as Chief Scientific Officer. He brings
considerable R&D experience, spanning both academic and pharmaceutical
environments, having spent 14 years in leadership roles with Pfizer, from
pre-clinical and exploratory drug development through to successful global
regulatory approvals. Andrew will direct and develop the company’s scientific
innovation.
His extensive experience will enable him to build on existing strengths in human
drug absorption and oral formulation development at Pharmaceutical Profiles,
streamlining methods, saving time and improving the cost efficiency of the drug
development process.
In a second appointment, Dr Peter Scholes has taken up the position of Vice
President of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He assumes overall operational
responsibility for formulation, analytical and manufacturing functions within
Pharmaceutical Profiles. A pharmacist by background, Peter has considerable
hands-on, strategic and management experience.
