SOLVO Biotechnology is introducing new P-gp PREDIVEZ Vesicular Transport Kit May 9th 2008: I am pleased to inform you, that SOLVO is introducing the new P-gp PREDIVEZTM kit that is a breakthrough in P-gp interaction assessment. The assay measures drug-transporter interaction in membrane vesicles expressing human P-gp or rat Mdr1b. The revolutionary PREDIVEZTM kit allows a faster and more cost effective investigation of the drug candidate and P-gp interaction than lower throughput cellular assays, such as Caco-2, MDCK-MDR1 or LLC-PK MDR1 cell-based systems. SOLVO’s new vesicular transport assay operates with a low permeability, cationic, radio-labeled substrate (N-methyl-quinidine) that is transported by both MDR1 and ratMdr1b transporters. The human P-gp PREDIVEZTM kit works with human membrane vesicles while the rat Mdr1b PREDIVEZTM kit contains insect membrane preparation expressing the rodent ABC transporter. Please find detailed information and reference data of P-gp and rat Mdr1b PREDIVEZTM Kits here: P-gp PREDIVEZTM kit Both kits are available in three sizes: 3, 6 and 9 compounds. Each kit contains sufficient amount of reagents and membrane preparation for testing 3 compounds per 96-well plate. Negative control membranes and positive control reference materials are also included. Each kit is accompanied by a CD that includes the assay protocol, Excel spreadsheet with data processing template, MSDS and reference curves with known interactors. The price of the kit includes the cost of the radio labeled reporter substrate, which is shipped separately. The labeled reporter compound comes in a single size package, sufficient for testing 9 compounds. Kits are also available without the labeled reporter compound. In case you are planning to try SOLVO’s new P-gp PredivezTM kit – MDR1 or rat Mdr1b -, I would encourage you to do it now. As an introductory offer SOLVO is going to credit 10 % of the total cost ordered against any PREDEASYTM ATPase or PREDIVEZTM fluorescent VT kits purchased until August 31, 2008. Contact: |
