Syngene Appoints New US Distributors and Sales
Manager To Provide Superior Service and Support for US Customers
June 29th 2007: Cambridge, UK: Syngene, a world-leading manufacturer of
image analysis solutions is delighted to announce that it is strengthening its
US presence with the appointment of respected distributors, Bartlett-Williams
Scientific Resources and Imgen Technologies, as well as a new Sales Manager for
its own US commercial team.
Syngene has added Imgen and Bartlett-Williams, established manufacturer’s
representatives with specialist knowledge of image analysis, to expertly sell
and support its equipment in North America. Both distributors have networks of
scientific sales professionals that will market Syngene’s high quality gel
documentation and image analyser range, plus Dyversity and Dymension Syngene’s
unrivalled system and software for imaging and analysing 2D protein gels.
To reinforce this marketing strategy in North America, Syngene has recruited
imaging expert Bob Coyne as Syngene’s US Sales Manager. Bob spent over seven
years as a regional sales manager with FUJIFILM Life Sciences Imaging group, and
an additional eight years marketing equipment for scientific applications. This
has provided Bob with extensive experience to draw from, which he will use to
offer advice and support on many technical aspects of Syngene’s products.
Paula Maia, Vice President of Sales, Syngene US stated: "These appointments will
strengthen our US presence and offer direct, rapid access to Syngene’s
expertise, an area that has been independently confirmed in the US as the
quality benchmark in this industry sector.”
Paul Ellwood, President, Syngene USA continued: “We have had outstanding success
in the past five years in the US market and are delighted to accommodate our
growth by adding two first-class distributors and a new sales manager to the
Syngene team. Their combined technical acumen and professional approach to image
analysis will allow us to maintain our excellent reputation for delivering
performance and service to all our existing and potential US clients.”
