Royston, UK – TTP LabTech today announced a special “hands-on” laboratory
instrumentation roadshow to be held in Basel, Frankfurt and Paris in October
2007. Basel: 22nd October, Frankfurt: 23rd October and Paris: 25th October.
The roadshow offers the opportunity to try out the latest in low-volume liquid
handling and high content screening systems with the user’s own plates, as well
as learning more about compound management, instrumentation development and
custom automation.
At each location, the TTP LabTech team of product specialists and application
support personnel will be available to provide assistance and advice across a
wide range of application areas. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own
plates to try on three of the systems to get a real-time, hands-on view of how
TTP LabTech instrumentation can enhance their lab’s throughput and quality of
results. These three instruments are: mosquito, which provides highly accurate
nanolitre pipetting with no cross-contamination; mosquito X1, which offers
flexible nanolitre hit-picking from any location and can pierce plate seals; and
the Acumen eX3 triple laser microplate cytometer for ultra high throughput high
content screening.
Each day will be an informal gathering of those involved in the key areas
covered by the TTP LabTech range of products. The idea behind the roadshow is to
bring these products to the forefront of scientist’s minds allowing them to
realise the true potential of each instrument without the pressure of being
involved in a sales environment.
TTP LabTech is committed to providing robust and reliable instrumentation for
automating life sciences. TTP LabTech’s products are designed to increase
efficiency, effectiveness, flexibility or overall capability in key
biopharmaceutical research processes including compound storage (comPOUND®), low
volume liquid handling (mosquito®) and fluorescence detection (Acumen®
fluorescence microplate cytometers).
TTP LabTech also undertakes the development of outstanding custom solutions for
specific needs, including automated chemistry systems, process automation and
novel instrumentation.
