Thrombotargets Corporation and Dr. Cam Patterson, Director of the Carolina
Cardiovascular Biology Center at the University of North Carolina to create a
Joint Venture for the exploitation of their proprietary technologies.

Thrombotargets Corporation and Dr. Cam Patterson have signed a Memorandum of
Intent for the establishment of a Thrombosis and Hemostasis specialised CRO that
will provide new drug discovery services based on both university and
Thrombotargets proprietary technologies.
Under the terms of this Memorandum, Dr. Patterson will act as an advisor in the
installation of key technologies and laboratory service and the technical
operation of the laboratory, while Thrombotargets will be responsible for
installation of its proprietary technologies, laboratory design and build out,
management of the corporation and laboratory, and the lab’s new drug discovery
services sales and marketing activities.
It is anticipated that this new laboratory will be fully operational by the
first quarter of 2008.
