West strengthens European team with a new Director of Sales
Lionville, PA, November 30th,
2005 – West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NYSE:WST),
the global market leader in closure systems and syringe components for use
with injectable drugs, today announced the strengthening of its European
management team through the appointment of Laurent Frechin as the Director of
Sales for Continental Europe.
Laurent brings a wealth of
experience to his new customer-focussed role, spanning twelve years of
European management experience in sales and service. He joined West in 1993 as
an Account Manager for the Western Region of Europe and in 1999, was appointed
Sales and Customer Services Manager for this region with multi-national
account responsibilities.
A graduate from “Ecole Nationale
de Commerce”, Laurent is due to complete a Pharmaceutical Marketing Diploma at
the “Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris” in 2005. His expertise and
training will enhance WPS’ support of the European customer base through his
strong leadership and detailed knowledge of the business.
