bioKneX launches Student Education Laboratory
Nottingham, UK, 27th
March 2006 – bioKneX (The East Midlands Bioscience Knowledge Exchange
Initiative) announces the launch of its Student Education Laboratory in
BioCity Nottingham on Thursday 30th March.
The Education Lab provides an exciting opportunity for 14+ and 16+ students to take part in a range of hands on experiments designed to complement their school syllabus. The event marks the launch of the high specification educational facility at BioCity – the largest bioscience innovation and incubator centre in the UK. The purpose-built laboratory is now available to schools throughout the East Midlands and gives pupils the opportunity to undertake exciting practical work that they would not normally have access to at their school/college. The workshops, led by an experienced scientist, will include:
