deltaDOT strengthens senior team with appointment of new Chairman

London, UK: 02 August 2006…. deltaDOT Ltd, a developer of highly innovative enabling technologies and products for bioscience research, has announced the expansion of its senior team with appointment of Dr Andrew Carr as Chairman of the Board with immediate effect. 

Dr Andrew Carr has over 20 years of experience of commercialising life sciences innovation. Previously, Andrew was a Director of Amersham Plc, a FTSE 100 company, and CEO of Amersham Biosciences, where he was responsible for a $1 billion turnover. Andrew has a PhD in Zoology from the University of Nottingham. He has been Executive Chairman and is now Non Executive Chairman of Akubio Ltd. 

Commenting on the new appointments, Dr Tony Baxter, CEO of DeltaDOT said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew as Chairman. Andrew’s extensive sector specific experience is ideally suited for this key position and his timely addition to the company will significantly strengthen the Board.
