deltaDOT strengthens management team with appointment of Operations Director
and Chief Commercial Officer
London, UK, 18 October 2006…. deltaDOT Ltd, a
developer of highly innovative enabling technologies and products for
bioscience research, has announced the expansion of its senior team with
appointment of Mr Dave Byatt as Operations Director and Dr Frank Smith as
Chief Commercial Officer, with immediate effect.
Prior to joining deltaDOT, Dave Byatt was Managing Director Genomic
Solutions, Ltd and Executive Vice President Genomic Solutions Inc, where he
was responsible for over 60 employees in the UK and USA. Previously, Mr
Byatt gained over 15 years industry experience in senior design and
engineering management positions at robotic and instrumentation companies,
including Aim Technology and Brown Boveri Kent. He was also a founder of PBA
Technology, a contract engineering firm specialising in the design and
manufacture of instrumentation for molecular biology applications.
Dr Frank Smith has gained over 15 years experience in senior sales and
marketing positions in the life sciences industry. Frank joins the company
from Genomic Solutions, where he was Global Product Manager. Previously,
Frank was Business Unit Manager at Invitrogen and Business Intelligence
Manager at Applied Biosystems. Frank has an MBA and PhD from Sussex
University.
