The basic principles underlying what are media and sera, their composition, and the use of reagents in cell culture is also discussed with their sales over a five-year period from 2003 to 2008. The companies selling these products were brought to the forefront and also the factors affecting markets for these products, and how those markets are likely to change.

Our key objective was to present a comprehensive analysis of the current display market and its future direction in media, sera and reagents of cell culture, with the emphasis on newer products.
