The Drug Target Atlas of Apoptopic Drugs in Oncology
The ultimate goal of cancer research is to learn how to make cancer cells selectively die. Apoptosis is the type of death about whose genetically controlled pathways we know the most.
Apoptotic cell death can be triggered by many different cellular stimuli, resulting in activation of apoptotic signaling pathways including extrinsic, intrinsic, and mitochondrial pathways.
