GlaxoSmithKline - Biotech, Pharma and Life Science Channel

GlaxoSmithKline is the third largest pharmaceutical company in the world, based on annual sales, which reached $37,134m in 2009.

Spread over 100 countries, GSK employs 96,500 people, 13,000 of which are dedicated to research and development of the the products. As well as medications, GSK has an extensive vaccine program, delivering 1.4bn doses in 2020. In 2009, they launched ViiV Healthcare, a global specialist HIV company established by GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer to deliver advances in treatment and care for people living with HIV.

GSK also produce products such as  Ribena, Horlicks, Lucozade, Aquafresh and Sensodyne, as well as traditional medications such as Panadol amongst others.
