Lymphoma - Biotech, Pharma and Life Science Channel
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph nodes; classified as Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Malignancy varies, and the prognosis can be from a few months to many years. Symptoms include enlarged lymph nodes, weight loss, fever and sweating.
Treatment involves chemotherapy, and possibly radiotherapy if the disease is very localized. Bone marrow transplants are also a possibility for non-Hodgkin lymphomas that have not responded to other treatments.
