Dr. Solman specializes in treating a variety of orthopaedic problems, including sports related injuries, fractures, and arthritic conditions. He is also experienced in the treatment of upper extremity injuries. Dr. Corey G. Solman received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and was awarded the Phi Beta Epsilon Award for Skill, Diligence, and Excellence as determined by the Department of Anatomy, and graduated in the top 20% of his class. He then completed his one year surgical internship and four year orthopaedic residency program at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. During his time in Louisiana, Dr. Solman received the William F. Sherman award for the most outstanding junior orthopaedic resident, and the Irene C. Thibodeaux award given to a chief resident for excellence in leadership and resident teaching. He also was honored with nominations for intern of the year in 1997 and resident of the year in 2001 as voted on by the faculty and students of the Tulane University Medical School. Following his orthopaedic training, Dr. Solman went on to Nashville, Tennessee, where he completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery.
