B.R.A.T. Diet LLC Company Profile

01:33 EDT 26th September 2017 | BioPortfolio

B.R.A.T. Diet LLC was started in 2007 when its founders Greg and Ilsa Toepfer’s children were sick with an intense stomach flu. Unable to keep anything down and unwilling to drink any of the hydration drinks the Toepfers could find on the market, their two young children became quickly dehydrated. The “a-ha” moment came to co-founder Greg Toepfer when he realized he might be able to make a “milk-like” drink using some of the B.R.A.T. diet® foods that his children would be willing and able to drink for hydration. Recognizing that the creation of such a drink would meet an unmet need in the marketplace, Greg and Ilsa went quickly to work researching and consulting with pediatricians and food scientists to develop an electrolyte- and nutrient-packed drink with the very effective and delicious result becoming the new B.R.A.T.® “feel better drinks.”
