Biocode–Hycel Biotechnology Diagnostics. Company Profile
Biocode, a University spin-off, was established as a biotechnology company in September 1989.In March 1997, Biocode moved to its present facilities and significantly enlarged its laboratories and production plan within an industrial architectural masterpiece. In 2000, Biocode acquired Hycel Diagnostics, a French company specialized in laboratory automation. Biocode-Hycel facilities are located in Liège (Belgium), the heart of the European Union and in France (Rennes, Paris and Pouilly). The Biocode–Hycel group is expending its position in the In Vitro Diagnostic market; it offers products for the three important IVD sectors: haematology, immunoassays and clinical chemistry. Biocode-Hycel now employs 150 highly qualified and highly trained people.
