KINAXO Biotechnologies is a privately-held biotechnology company based in Munich-Martinsried, Germany. The company is a spin-off from the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried. KINAXO offers a comprehensive chemical-proteomics technology - known as KinaTorTM - to identify and characterize the biological interactions of kinase inhibitors with their cellular protein targets. The KinaTorTM-technology was developed and optimized over several years by its founders Dr. Henrik Daub and Dr. Axel Ullrich. Additional founding shareholders are Dr. Hellmut Kirchner, Axel Leimer and Dr. Andreas Jenne, as well as BioM AG and the Max Planck Society. KINAXO has a secure IP position with an exclusive worldwide license to the KinaTorTM-patents for partnering and fee-for-services activities.
