Founded in 1927 by Winfield Witherwax, the Naugatuck Glass Company occupies 75,000 square feet on five acres of land in the historic town of Naugatuck, Connecticut.More than 70 years of glass fabrication experience have made Naugatuck Glass a premier manufacturer of flat glass, mirror, metalized and commercial optical components for industrial gauge, automotive, marine, electronic, information display and medical device applications. Our thin mirror components are used worldwide for cosmetic, novelty, solar power reflector and automotive applications. Naugatuck metalized components are manufactured completely in-house and are used for hermetically sealed instruments, automotive, aerospace and medical applications. Specializing in the production of round, rectangular, or odd-shaped configurations, we manufacture commercial optical components for aircraft instrument windows, high-end automotive gauges and specialty glass.
