Proteome Systems Limited is an Australian based biotechnology company which discovers and develops diagnostic and therapeutic products. The Company has extensive expertise in the discovery and development of protein biomarkers. Our focus is on areas where there are large global markets and unmet need for diagnostics and drugs such as respiratory disease, neurodegenerative disease, cancer and infectious diseases.The Company’s lead programmes for biomarker discovery and development are Tuberculosis, Prostate Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Huntington’s Disease and novel antibiotic targets for infectious diseases. These programmes are partly or wholly funded through government grants (e.g. the Company has received a $2 million START grant to develop a lab-based TB diagnostic assay) and partners
