San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care Company Profile
San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care has earned the community’s respect over the past 29 years by providing exceptional care to those in need. The organization established the County’s first hospice program in 1977; and, has added comprehensive palliative care services over the past six years in response to the needs of the community. Palliative care services include a licensed Home Health program, physician consultation services, comprehensive bereavement support and education, a specialized children’s program, and the nation’s largest physician specialty training program through the Center for Palliative Studies. Today, San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care has become one of the largest home care hospices in the country and is a nationally recognized leader in hospice care, education and research.
