European Lung Foundation Company Profile

The European Lung Foundation is the public voice of the European Respiratory Society (ERS). As a member of the ECC, the aim of the organisation is to translate into lay terms and disseminate the most up-to-date scientific information from the respiratory professionals at the ERS to patients, the public, media and politicians throughout Europe. The ELF website ( www.european-lung-foundation.org ) is an important communication tool as it is translated into 8 different European Languages and contains information on lung health and disease at all levels. It is visited daily by >1,500 people worldwide.
