This two-day intensive course combines lectures with practical exercises to give writers the confidence to begin writing manuscripts and the knowledge to get them accepted for publication.

After completing the workshop, participants will be familiar with:-

• The goals, structure, and content of manuscripts destined for peer-reviewed journals
• The step-by-step process for writing a manuscript
• Steps to take to avoid immediate rejection and improve the chance of getting a manuscript accepted
• How to navigate the peer-review process

This course is intended for writers that have limited or no experience in writing peer-reviewed manuscripts. This may include:

• Medical and scientific writers
• Members of medical communication agencies
• Pharmaceutical marketing personnel
• CROs
• Medical doctors and researchers who need to publish 

Peer-reviewed manuscripts are the main way that researchers communicate their research findings and they are the most trusted source of information for physicians and scientific researchers. They are the main source of information for making policy decisions, and in many countries they are the only source of information that can be cited in medical marketing materials.
