Butyrylcholinesterase

Butyrylcholinesterase, also known as BCHE, is a human gene. Butyrylcholinesterase is also called serum cholinesterase. It is very similar to the neuronal acetylcholinesterase. Butyrylcholine is a synthetic compound and does not occur in the body naturally.
