Immunochemistry

Immunochemistry is a branch of chemistry that involves the study of the reactions and components on the immune system.Various methods in immunochemistry has been developed and refined, and been used in scientific study, from virology to molecular evolution. One of the earliest examples of immunochemistry is the Wasserman test to detect Syphilis. Svante Arrhenius was also one of the pioneers in the field; he published Immunochemistry in 1907 which described the application of the methods of physical chemistry to the study of the theory of toxins and antitoxins.Category:Immune systemit:Immunochimicaja:免疫化学pt:Imunoquímica Immunocompetence 2646623 168683592 2007-11-02T07:06:54Z Mimihitam 4383153 Immunocompetence is the ability of the body to produce a normal immune response following exposure to an antigen. Opposite of immunodeficiency. In reference to lymphocytes, immunocompetence means that a B cell or T cell is mature and can recognize antigens and allow a person to mount an immune response.
