Analytical
Tool: Frontlines in Cancer Therapeutics I
In this very
extensive Analytical Tool, BioSeeker has selected a number of fields and
topics in cancer therapy R&D, which have all seen tremendous
advancements lately. Monoclonal antibodies, anti-angiogenesis / vascular
targeting, protein kinase inhibitors, integrin antagonists, VEGF-Trap
and Endostatin are covered in a number of reports and databases,
included in this Analytical Tool. This range of therapeutic strategies
and targets include many strong interrelationships in terms of
technology, R&D and competition. An example of this is Avastin, a
monoclonal antibody targeting the VEGF signaling pathway, partly
resulting in an antiangiogenetic effect.
With the products included in this
Analytical Tool, you will be guided through some of the most active,
competitive and interesting fields in oncology today. While providing a
complete overview of these topics, this package will also allow you the
opportunity to carry out independent in-depth analysis on these fields,
thanks to the immense and complete data sets included. This Analytical
Tool also forecasts the developmental progress in terms of indications,
type of drugs, drug effects, targets, and mechanism of actions. Hundreds
of companies and their activities are described and evaluated. More than
1000 cancer projects are included. To order click:

Evaluating
Online Advertising Opportunities Life Science Portals
Commercial life science portals provide users with "one-stop"
access to the information they need and offer a wide array of content
that could be of interest to life science researchers, such as
scientific articles, news briefs, product and supplier information, and
professional resources. These focused, online communities have emerged
not only to encourage repeat visits from scientists, but also to attract
advertising dollars and sponsorships. Online advertising at such web
sites can take a variety of forms—from simple banner ads to paid
content to electronic storefronts. However, given the bewildering array
of life science portals, the question of where to place these ads has
become extremely complex. Based on a 36-question survey of more than
1,300 life scientists, Evaluating Online Advertising Opportunities @
Life Science Portals is designed to help marketers understand
scientists’ perspectives on web content, banner ads and e-newsletters.
By doing so, this report will help life science executives decide where
to spend their advertising budget using the same criteria as their
scientific customers, rather than assessing the value of a portal on the
basis of "hits", "pages served" and "unique
user" statistics.

and represents the first "newsfeed" that identifies breaking
scientific publications with drug development potential.
Using
proprietary data retrieval strategies LeadDiscovery selects
daily 1,000 PubMed articles and press releases. The selected
articles and releases are then scanned by an industrial research panel
which judges those articles considered to be of greatest benefit for
the drug development sector.
Selected
publications as well as press releases are then listed on DailyUpdates
six therapeutic channels that match core R&D areas;
