Certified Agarose Powder Line is complete, pure and GQT.

2002 Bio-Rad Laboratories has upgraded its entire line of agarose
powders for nucleic acid electrophoresis. The new Certified Agaroses
are all 100% pure and genetic quality tested (GQT), guaranteeing the
absence of inhibitors, DNases and RNases.
"There have been incremental advances in the technology over the
years, and weıve organized this new line of agaroses to relate closely to
current applications," notes Richelle Serrano, Bio-Rad Senior Product
Manager, BioMaterials Division. "Theyıre designed to deliver
performance and value, and can be used with confidence for both routine
separations and downstream molecular biology applications."
The product line includes seven agaroses: Certified Molecular Biology
Agarose, Certified PCR Agarose, Certified Low Range Ultra Agarose,
Certified Megabase Agarose, Certified Low-Melt Agarose, Certified PCR
Low-Melt Agarose and Pulsed Field Certified Agarose.
Bio-Rad product literature makes it easy to select agaroses by size range
(1,000 bp 1 kb) or by application.
The new Certified Agarose product line is being phased in through August
of this year. When customers reorder products using old catalog numbers,
Bio-Radıs Customer Service will advise them of the updates and refer them
to the appropriate Certified Agarose.
"We anticipate a smooth transition since the new products are all GQT
and attractively priced," Serrano adds.
