appoints Steve Lombardi as non-executive director

the personalized medicines company, announced today that it has appointed Steve
Lombardi as non-executive director. Currently Senior Vice President of Corporate
Development at Affymetrix Inc., Steve brings over 25 years experience in
commercial biotechnology companies to IntegraGen at an important and exciting
time in the Company’s development.

Prior
to joining Affymetrix, Steve had a long and successful career at Applied
Biosystems, finishing as Senior Vice President of Applications and Products.
Other positions he held during his 16 years there included Vice President,
Genetic Analysis, Product Line Manager, Genetic Analysis and Product Manager,
DNA Sequencing and DNA Synthesis. He has considerable knowledge of the
biotechnology and genetic technology industries, which will be extremely
valuable to IntegraGen as it develops.

advance that overcomes the limitations of existing marker based familial linkage
study methods. Its in-house programs are focused on identifying genes involved
