MNLpharma Strengthens Team Maidenhead, UK (21 February 2005) – MNLpharma (MNL) announced today it has added two key personnel to its team: Dr. Mike Rance as Non-Executive Director on the Board and David Gee as Commercial Director. Both appointments bring years of technical and commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry and bolster MNL’s management team. Dr Rance joined Reckitt and Colman’s pharmaceutical division in 1972 and gained experience in a range of drug discovery and drug development roles before joining ICI Pharmaceuticals as a bioscience project leader. At ICI he worked as a development project leader before heading up the company’s managed care business in the US. More recently he led the Zeneca Pharmaceuticals business development function and was part of the team responsible for the successful creation of AstraZeneca where he is currently Vice President of Corporate Affairs. David Gee has more than 20 years experience within several international healthcare companies serving in sales, marketing, strategic planning, and business development roles. He has managed commercial activities at all stages of drug development and has extensive experience in establishing research collaborations, in-and out-licensing, and M&A. Past notable experience includes management of a US$100M industrial investment fund while COO of Altana Technology Projects GmbH and senior management positions with Arexis AB, Pharmexa A/S, and Argenta Discovery Ltd.
