Miami, Florida (PRWEB) August 06, 2012
Kenneth Van Gross, MD announces the launch of the Radical Neurocreativity Project dedicated to the “power of a million new ideas,” with the debut of his new sports science book, “Primal Neuroanthropology© - a NeuroSports Hypothesis.”
The project is designed to provide intelligent dialogue and interactivity to combat a world of digital communication without substance. Van Gross, MD aims to distill neuroscience for public understanding while overlapping evolutionary sports neuroscience with sociology and psychiatry.
In Primal Neuroanthropology©, Van Gross, MD, a neurologist and author, writes on the origin and overriding power of sports using perspectives from humans’ neurological evolution, growth, development and degeneration to sociological, psychiatric and religious/philosophical domains. He contends that sports gestures, postures, movements and expressions are critical to the primitive consciousness of the sports performer.
Van Gross has created a slideshow overview of his social science book, which is currently hosted on YouTube.
Derived from an academic presentation by Van Gross, MD at the American Academy of Neurology annual international conference in Toronto in 2010, the book is written in a “pop neurology” style. It is particularly timely now, coinciding with the 2012 Olympics in London.
Van Gross has launched other Radical Neurocreativity Projects with this debut as well, such as Neurosatire/Neuroabsurdity Essays on World Events, which can be found in “The Emergence of Van Gross, MD,” and “The Five Books of Van Gross,” both available on the Van Gross, MD website.
