How do you find out about big news events?

02:39 EDT 23 Aug 2012 | Anya de Iongh

The way we find out about the big news stories today is very different. Of the top 10 big global and national stories of the last year, I found out first that something was happening through social media – Facebook updates and trends on Twitter. Most of the major analysis on events I have gleamed from social media too – links to articles and personal opinions. Although glued to my laptop and tablet most of the time, my experience is far from unique. This is the way we digest our information nowadays, in constant up-dates and feeds.
Our consumption is split between a hundred or so character snippets and detailed analytically reports, as we balance our hunger for the latest, with our thirst for the detail that drives business and decisions.
BioPortfolio can bring you both! The Report store offers detail while our Twitter and Facebook feeds can keep you up-to-date and in touch with the latest trends
