Acacia Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTG) announced today that Acacia Research Group LLC and its LifePort Sciences LLC subsidiary have entered into a license agreement with Medtronic, Inc. and Medtronic Vascular Inc. covering patents relating to surgical devices. The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
