EAST PATCHOGUE, N.Y., June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Endoscopy (PE) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Great South Bay Endoscopy (GSBE). Finalized on May 12, 2017, Physicians Endoscopy will provide a full range of ASC services working exclusively on the business and operational components of the Center.

"Partnering with a management company to bring our center to the next level was a no-brainer. We had considered it for a while and then decided that it was the right next step for us as we try to navigate the changing health care environment. Since Physicians Endoscopy deals with GI-specific ambulatory endoscopy centers, we know that we'll get the specialized attention that we need to reach our full potential. Their knowledge and skill in addressing management and regulatory challenges in a changing practice environment will couple well with our experience on the practice front. The partnership will help us further provide high quality, safe, and cost-effective medical care to our patients." Ravi Singh, MD, GSBE Medical Director.
"The physicians of Brookhaven Gastroenterology Associates are committed to delivering the highest level of patient care while being the low-cost provider in the market. They sought to align with a corporate partner who shared their values and could provide the expertise to help them accomplish their goals. The doctors also desired a partner who would work with the local hospital to create a joint venture that aligned both the physicians' goals and the hospital's desire to deepen the relationship with the top gastroenterology group in their service area. We look forward to working hand in hand on this venture to grow the business together." Jeff Fox, VP Business Development, Physicians Endoscopy.
