Day to lead Navvis’ Efforts to Help Health Plans and Health Systems Create and Capture Value

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) June 06, 2017

Navvis today announced the addition of healthcare transformation expert Chris Day as its Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer. In his role, Day will shape Navvis’ strategy to help hospitals, health systems, and health plans solve their growth and diversification challenges.

Day has industry-leading experience bringing together health systems and health plans to achieve growth and diversification. He has worked with over 200 health systems and physician groups to design accountable care organizations (ACOs) for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid populations.

As an expert in value-based initiatives, including ACOs and bundled payments, physician alignment strategies, and post-acute care, Day brings veteran industry experience driving growth through business partnerships, joint ventures, and new companies. Examples of Day’s work include establishing a Pioneer ACO for a health system in the Southwest, creating a joint venture between a national health plan and large East Coast health system, and forming a statewide ACO to enhance the care provided to state employees and retirees.

Day has served in executive-level roles for national healthcare providers, health plans, and public organizations. This includes senior management positions at Kindred Healthcare, Aetna, Humana, and the Public Health Foundation in Washington D.C.

“Navvis is strategically positioned at the intersection of commerce between payers and providers. This is precisely where Chris’ 20 years of experience will drive growth and diversification for our client partners,” said Mike Farris, Chairman and CEO of Navvis. “Chris has a unique ability to dissect the complicated mechanics of healthcare funding and delivery. This insight will further strengthen our strategies to drive volume-based growth AND value-based performance, empowering our partners to lead in their markets. Chris represents the best that healthcare has to offer, and we are proud to have him join the Navvis team.”
