TUCSON, Ariz., Aug. 8 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning Downtown Dispensary will officially open its second Tucson location D2 Dispensary with a grand opening, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., August 8-9, at 7105 E. 22nd St., in Tucson.

The two-day celebration will feature free giveaways on premium products, including: Uncle Herbs, Cornucopia, Baked Bros., Korova, Sublime, Love Carissa, Yilo, O Pen Vape, Keef Cola, Kiva, and Green Halo.

Customers will receive a 10% discount on debit card transactions as well as a 10% discount for all veterans. New patients will receive one full gram pre-roll with every eighth purchased, up to three times.

"The same people who brought you The Downtown Dispensary have now opened D2 on the East side of Tucson. Our new location is equally as innovative as its predecessor and was designed with the community in mind," said director Moe Asnani.

D2 features a contemporary and modern layout in a spacious and fully renovated 3,000 sq. ft. building. Easily accessible from the street, D2 is ADA compliant with ample parking for customers.

D2's four station, deli-style dispensing system and digital retail menus are unique retail components that simplify the selection process for patients and gained mass appeal at its flagship.

Moe Asnani and Chip Boyden's decision to expand medical cannabis operations was in response to Arizona's increasing patient demand and a continued desire to raise the industry bar in retail excellence. Their Downtown Dispensary has been serving patients since 2013, and was voted "Best of Tucson" by the Tucson Weekly in 2015 and 2016.

An expert in licensing, compliance, and management, Asnani was actively involved in the rule-making process in Arizona, and worked with the Department of Health Services to offset dispensary liability and enhance patient access.

His community-driven dispensaries offer a number of educational tools and resources, as well as assistance in reducing registration fees for qualifying patients.

D2 Dispensary will be open from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., seven days a week. For more information call 520-214-3232 or email d2dispensary@icloud.com.
