Healthcare Administrative Partners (HAP), a leading provider of outsourced billing, coding, and practice management solutions for radiology practices, today announces the addition of Gettysburg Diagnostic Imaging (GDI) to its roster of radiology revenue cycle management (RCM) clients. GDI is a hospital-based radiology practice serving patients in south central Pennsylvania.
Under the terms of the agreement, HAP will perform all revenue cycle and practice management services on behalf of GDI. Additionally, HAP will provide credentialing services to enroll GDI physicians with third-party payers and maintain their status as needed.
According to Dr. Tanya Geiger-Bromery, President of GDI, “We were searching for a partner to help us keep pace with the rapidly changing healthcare reimbursement environment as it impacts radiology. We feel confident facing the challenges ahead knowing that HAP is working as a true business partner of our practice.”
Commenting on the new agreement, HAP’s President, Jane Knox, states that, “Radiology groups are facing new pressures in today’s healthcare economy. Practices must seek out an RCM partner that sets them up for success now and in the future. HAP has invested in a continually evolving solution set that goes beyond the scope of normal billing operations to give our clients the actionable information they need to participate in the new quality reporting initiatives and achieve the incentives available. We appreciate this new relationship with GDI and look forward to supporting their practice today and in the years to come.”
