Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences Announces Recent Hires 
Petaluma, California (Feb 19, 2003) – Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, a contract development company specializing in topical products, is pleased to announce the following additions to the Dow team: 

Teresa M. Johnk, MS, Associate Director of Business Development and Client Relations 
Teresa comes to Dow after serving most recently as Director of Program Management at Biomarin Pharmaceutical Inc., a North Bay biotechnology company. At Dow Teresa will be responsible for development of new business with prospective clients, maintaining client relations and for supporting marketing efforts for Dow. 

Stephen Grayson, Ph.D., Medical and Scientific Writer 
Stephen comes to Dow from Cellegy Pharmaceuticals, where he last served as Research Fellow. His career includes 19 years at UCSF where he focused on scientific research and writing. Dr. Grayson will be responsible for technical writing of FDA documents at Dow, as well as SBIR grant writing. 

Allan L Wilcox, Ph.D., Project Manager 
Allan joins Dow after being Director of Clinical Development for NeurogesX, a South Bay pharmaceutical company where he last served as.Director of Chemical Development. As a Dow Project Manager, Dr. Wilcox will work closely with clients to manage their topical development projects. 

Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences provides pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients with topical formulation development, skin permeation studies, analytical and stability testing, topicals manufacturing, labeling and distribution of clinical trial materials, regulatory and clinical strategies, regulatory filings, nonclinical and clinical study planning and management, and dermatological clinical trials.
