Pharma Appoints Dr. Richard Goodfellow as a Non-Executive Director

Enact
Pharma plc, the market driven biopharmaceutical company, has appointed Dr.
Richard Goodfellow, as a non-executive Director. The Board now consists of
three Executive Directors and four non-Executive Directors.
Dr.
Goodfellow will play a key role helping to develop the commercial strategy
for the Company and in particular will lead an active alliance building
programme with other biotechnology companies and the major pharmaceutical
groups.
Dr
Goodfellow has over 20 years international experience in the
pharmaceutical industry in both Big Pharma and biotechnology companies.
During his time at Astra, he oversaw the launch of Losec and other key
products internationally. Whilst at Scotia he
negotiated a number of global deals and was involved in the company's
flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
A
regular speaker at many key industry events, a co-founder of the Cambridge
based Drug Discovery Company Paradigm Therapeutics and a Director of
Scancell, a company developing monoclonal antibodies and vaccines for the
treatment of cancer, Dr. Goodfellow brings to Enact a wealth of knowledge
and experience.

Enact
Pharma is an emerging biopharmaceutical company. An OFEX listed company,
Enact Pharma has focused on the research and development of anti-cancer
therapies and other products for the treatment of neuropathological
diseases. Enact is the result of a merger in April 2000 between Enzacta

Executive Officer -Dr Tony Atkinson, previously Deputy Director of the
Centre for Applied Microbiology and Research and Director of its Division
of Biotechnology, a founder of Kymed and a number of other companies.
Previously Chief Scientific Officer of Enact Pharma.

Operational Officer - Dr Judy McArdell, previously COO of Kymed and a
founder of both New Sarum Enterprises Ltd and Tetricus Ltd the incubator
company for the development of the Porton Down Science Park.
Acting
Finance Director - Mr James Cooper was previously a Director of Hambros
Bank working in the Corporate Finance Division and Co-Head of UK Corporate
Finance for BNP Paribas in London.

- Dr Jon Dickens, formerly CEO of Enzacta, which merged with Kymed to form
Enact Pharma and a founder of British Biotech Ltd and later executive
director of Chiroscience.
