Genevac Acidic chemicals … EZ does it …

DECEMBER 6th 2002  All versions of Genevac's successful EZ-2 evaporator use inert and corrosion proof materials wherever possible to provide protection against corrosive solvents such as Trifluoroacetic acid.  However for laboratories faced with routine handling of strongly acidic chemicals, such as Hydrochloric acid or Thionyl Chloride, a new 'HCl' version of the EZ-2 is now available.

Already benefiting from the standard PTFE coated evaporation chamber, glass condenser and FEP tubing, the EZ-2 HCl system replaces all remaining stainless steel components with parts manufactured from highly durable and acid resistant Hasteloy C steel.

With the HCl options fitted, the versatile EZ-2 and EZ-2 Plus systems can be used with high concentrations of Hydrochloric acid and other acid chlorides without any loss of performance or long-term deterioration in the system. 

Incorporating the latest centrifugal evaporation technology in a compact and easy-to-use benchtop model the EZ-2 Series with HCL option is priced to be affordable by almost any laboratory.
