INTEGRA Biosciences Flexible tool for aspiration of liquid samples

11th December 2002 The new Hand Operator from INTEGRA Biosciences converts almost any commercial vacuum pump into a flexibile system for aspirating liquids from a wide range of sample media including 96- and 24-well plates, culture bottles, sample tubes and vials.

Provided with a range of adapters for different applications the affordable Hand Operator is compatible with almost all commercial pipette tips and stainless steel needles.  Changing adapters is both simple and rapid enabling productive use of the system.  A precision engineered knob on the Hand Operator provides sensitive regulation of the applied vacuum suitable for even the most critical applications.

All parts of the Hand Operator can be easily accessed and autoclaved clean if required.

To provide a 'one-stop' system that incorporates all the essential elements for safe and productive aspiration of liquid samples the Hand Operator may be supplied with a INTEGRA Biosciences VacuSafe™ pump.  The VacuSafe™  is a compact low-noise pump station with integrated controller and waste container enabling fast, controlled vacuum / pressure operation.
