Nonlinear Dynamics and Amersham Biosciences announce further collaboration by signing exclusive software deal for ImageQuant TL™

September 27th 2002 (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and Piscataway, NJ). Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd announces they have signed an exclusive Software Product Development and Distribution Agreement with Amersham Biosciences for ImageQuant TL. ImageQuant TL is being developed by Nonlinear to continue the existing ImageQuant software, of which there are 10,500 global users. 

The new software will be exclusively distributed with all Amersham Biosciences imaging instruments. Used by thousands of scientists, imaging instrumentation is vital for a broad range of life science applications carried out in laboratories worldwide. 

Will Dracup, Nonlinear’s CEO and Company Founder, said; “This deal further builds the close business relationship we have established with Amersham Biosciences over the last six years.” He added; “It also demonstrates Nonlinear’s breadth, versatility and expertise throughout the entire field of image analysis and bioinformatics, be it concentrating on 1D electrophoresis, 2D electrophoresis or microarray technology.
