Nonlinear Dynamics employs Western Regional Sales Manager

24th June 2003. (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) Nonlinear Dynamics, a leading provider of bioinformatics solutions, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Dr Aileen Alvarado-Swaisgood as Western Regional Sales Manager of its US subsidiary, Nonlinear USA Inc.

Aileen has over 20 years’ experience in academia and industry, in that time working as a researcher, applications scientist and sales manager. For the past ten years, Aileen has been with Accelrys Inc., most recently in a sales management position covering Latin America and US/Canada Government, as well as account management in the NJ/NY and Western region of the United States. She has a PhD in Quantum Chemistry and an MBA in Global Business Management.

Aileen will be representing Nonlinear’s proteomics software solutions in the Western region of the United States. Nonlinear already has employees covering the Mid-West and Eastern regions, with other territories being handled from the North Carolina regional office.

Aileen said, “Nonlinear’s software has really impressed me because of its clarity and innovation. Nonlinear’s approach to developing quality products, maintaining their focus firmly on customer need, is great to see and I am looking forward to representing these solutions in the exciting US proteomics market.”
