8th January 2003
Cambridge, UK: Syngene, a world-leading manufacturer of image analysis solutions is pleased to announce its new web site,
www.syngene.com is now live. The site, which provides rapid access to information on Syngene’s image analysis products and services, will prove to be an invaluable source of interesting technical applications for molecular biologists and protein chemists alike.
The Syngene web site, designed with attractive yet simple graphics, is split into seven easy to navigate sections. The ‘Product’ and ‘Tradeshow’ sections will appeal to those unfamiliar with Syngene. The ‘Product’ section includes a brief system summary and a colour PDF brochure. It is an excellent guide, allowing potential users to effortlessly discover which system best suits their needs. The ‘Tradeshow’ section may save time prior to a laboratory demonstration. It provides an up to the minute indication of where scientists can see systems in action, as well as discuss applications with Syngene experts.
The ‘What’s New’ and ‘Technical’ sections are suited to those already using Syngene products. The scroll-up and down features in these sections are so easy to use that scientists will quickly find the information they require. With the ‘What’s New’ section, users can discover when free software upgrades are available to download. The ‘Technical’ section provides access to interesting articles detailing how other users are getting the best out of their systems and gives hints to help scientists save time with their own research.
Paul Ellwood, Syngene’s Sales and Marketing Director explained: “We are delighted with our new web site because we have packed it with interesting facts while ensuring it is both quick and simple to use. We have avoided using unnecessary graphical gimmicks because scientists want to access image analysis information without fuss and we believe this web site will help them to do just that.”
