The landscape of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) treatment has changed considerably since the first reported assessment of minimal residual disease (MRD) by flow cytometry in 1992. Chemoimmunothera...
Laser capture microdissection (LCM) is a technique that allows procurement of an enriched cell population from a heterogeneous tissue sample under direct microscopic visualization. Fundamentally, lase...
Richter syndrome (RS) is a rare event in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) that is influenced by biological factors and prior CLL treatments. Ibrutinib is a Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor that has ...
Understanding the relationship between chronic pain and neurocognition has important implications for the assessment and treatment of pain. This paper provides an overview of the current literature ex...
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common lymphoproliferative disorder worldwide. Although thoracic complications are frequent in CLL, only limited data exist regarding the etiologies of t...
This observational study will assess the health related quality of life (HQRL) p rofiles of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Using health assessment questionnaires, data will b...
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if using a combination of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab, with sargramostim (GM-CSF) can help to control previously untre...
The aim of the present study was to compare the outcomes of incisions made by Colorado® microdissection needle, electrosurgery tip and surgical blade during periodontal surgery.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the ability of Rituximab maintenance therapy to prolong progression free survival in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, who responded to a ...
The purpose of this study is to establish the safety and optimal dose of orally administered PCI-32765 in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma.
Techniques using a laser to cut away and harvest a specific cell or cluster of cells from a tissue section while viewing it under the microscope.
A chronic leukemia characterized by abnormal B-lymphocytes and often generalized lymphadenopathy. In patients presenting predominately with blood and bone marrow involvement it is called chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL); in those predominately with enlarged lymph nodes it is called small lymphocytic lymphoma. These terms represent spectrums of the same disease.
Inflammatory diseases of the THYROID GLAND. Thyroiditis can be classified into acute (THYROIDITIS, SUPPURATIVE), subacute (granulomatous and lymphocytic), chronic fibrous (Riedel's), chronic lymphocytic (HASHIMOTO DISEASE), transient (POSTPARTUM THYROIDITIS), and other AUTOIMMUNE THYROIDITIS subtypes.
A technique utilizing a laser coupled to a catheter which is used in the dilatation of occluded blood vessels. This includes laser thermal angioplasty where the laser energy heats up a metal tip, and direct laser angioplasty where the laser energy directly ablates the occlusion. One form of the latter approach uses an EXCIMER LASER which creates microscopically precise cuts without thermal injury. When laser angioplasty is performed in combination with balloon angioplasty it is called laser-assisted balloon angioplasty (ANGIOPLASTY, BALLOON, LASER-ASSISTED).
A chronic leukemia characterized by a large number of circulating prolymphocytes. It can arise spontaneously or as a consequence of transformation of CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA.
