Laser microdissection is a method that allows for the isolation of homogenous cell populations from their native niches in tissues for downstream molecular assays. This method is widely used for genom...
The synchronous occurrence of two different neoplasias is an uncommon event, which may arise between tumors originating in the same organ or in cancer-to-cancer metastasis. We report a rare case of ch...
In cutaneous research, we aim to study the molecular signature of a diseased tissue. However, such a study is met with obstacles due to the inherent heterogeneous nature of tissues because multiple ce...
Monoclonal B-cell lymphocytosis (MBL) does not have a World Health Organization (WHO) International Classification of Diseases for Oncology (ICD-O) morphology code as it is not currently recognized as...
Deletion 13q (13q-) is the most common cytogenetic aberration in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and is associated with the most favorable prognosis as the sole cytogenetic abnormality. However, it...
This observational study will assess the health related quality of life (HQRL) p rofiles of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Using health assessment questionnaires, data will b...
The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if using a combination of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab, with sargramostim (GM-CSF) can help to control previously untre...
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the ability of Rituximab maintenance therapy to prolong progression free survival in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, who responded to a ...
Pharmacokinetics (PK), Pharmacodynamics (PD), Safety, Tolerability of Multiple Dose Regimens of MT-3724 for the Treatment of Patients With Relapsed Chronic B-cell Lymphocytic Leukemia or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma
This Phase I, multiple ascending dose study will seek to enroll subjects with relapsed/refractory Chronic B-cell Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL) with confirm...
The purpose of this study is to establish the safety and optimal dose of orally administered PCI-32765 in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma.
A chronic leukemia characterized by abnormal B-lymphocytes and often generalized lymphadenopathy. In patients presenting predominately with blood and bone marrow involvement it is called chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL); in those predominately with enlarged lymph nodes it is called small lymphocytic lymphoma. These terms represent spectrums of the same disease.
Inflammatory diseases of the THYROID GLAND. Thyroiditis can be classified into acute (THYROIDITIS, SUPPURATIVE), subacute (granulomatous and lymphocytic), chronic fibrous (Riedel's), chronic lymphocytic (HASHIMOTO DISEASE), transient (POSTPARTUM THYROIDITIS), and other AUTOIMMUNE THYROIDITIS subtypes.
A technique utilizing a laser coupled to a catheter which is used in the dilatation of occluded blood vessels. This includes laser thermal angioplasty where the laser energy heats up a metal tip, and direct laser angioplasty where the laser energy directly ablates the occlusion. One form of the latter approach uses an EXCIMER LASER which creates microscopically precise cuts without thermal injury. When laser angioplasty is performed in combination with balloon angioplasty it is called laser-assisted balloon angioplasty (ANGIOPLASTY, BALLOON, LASER-ASSISTED).
A chronic leukemia characterized by a large number of circulating prolymphocytes. It can arise spontaneously or as a consequence of transformation of CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA.
Techniques using laser energy in combination with a balloon catheter to perform angioplasty. These procedures can take several forms including: 1, laser fiber delivering the energy while the inflated balloon centers the fiber and occludes the blood flow; 2, balloon angioplasty immediately following laser angioplasty; or 3, laser energy transmitted through angioplasty balloons that contain an internal fiber.
