Summary of "Rehabilitation of Patients with Acute Stroke."

The medical and social significance of acute stroke in the Russian Federation is addressed. The aims and tasks of rehabilitation of stroke patients are discussed, with description of the techniques used. Non-pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical rehabilitation methods are described. Neuromidin was found to be effective in the early rehabilitation of stroke patients.

Stroke is classified by the type of tissue NECROSIS, such as the anatomic location, vasculature involved, etiology, age of the affected individual, and hemorrhagic vs. non-hemorrhagic nature.
