An efficient protocol for the direct synthesis of 4-arylcoumarins via palladium-catalyzed oxidative Heck coupling reaction of coumarins and arylboronic acids was developed. 4-Arylcoumarins were obtained in moderate to excellent yields, and the reaction also showed tolerance toward functional groups such as hydro, methoxy, diethylamino, nitro, and chloro groups.

The first Pd-catalyzed Mizoroki-Heck-type reaction of [Ph2SRfn][OTf] with alkenes is described. The reaction of [Ph2SRfn][OTf] (Rfn = CF3, CH2CF3) with alkenes in the presence of 10 mol% Pd[P(t-Bu)3]2...
We describe a modular, palladium catalyzed synthesis of aryl(hetero)aryl benzophenones and aryl benzoates from ar-yl(hetero)arylhalides using CHCl3 as the carbonyl source in presence of KOH. The react...
A novel palladium-catalyzed domino Heck/aryne carbopalladation/C-H functionalization reaction using in situ generated arynes has been developed in which three new C-C bonds and a carbon quaternary cen...
An efficient and alternative oxidative cross-coupling strategy starting from arylboronic acids and isocyanides for the selective synthesis of amides and diaryl ketones with palladium/copper catalysis ...
We report the first example of a silyl-Negishi reaction between secondary zinc organometallics and silicon electrophiles. This palladium-catalyzed process provides direct access to alkyl silanes. The ...

The reaction of two molecular entities via oxidation usually catalyzed by a transition metal compound and involving dioxygen as the oxidant.
The fusion of ceramics (porcelain) to an alloy of two or more metals for use in restorative and prosthodontic dentistry. Examples of metal alloys employed include cobalt-chromium, gold-palladium, gold-platinum-palladium, and nickel-based alloys.
A reaction that severs one of the sugar-phosphate linkages of the phosphodiester backbone of RNA. It is catalyzed enzymatically, chemically, or by radiation. Cleavage may be exonucleolytic, or endonucleolytic.
