Dose of Spinal Manipulation for Chronic Low Back Pain
Summary
This study will determine the number of visits to a chiropractor for spinal manipulation, light massage, and ultrasound necessary for optimal relief of chronic low back pain. The study will also determine the effectiveness of spinal manipulation.

Heart Massage
Rhythmic compression of the heart by pressure applied manually over the sternum (closed heart massage) or directly to the heart through an opening in the chest wall (open heart massage). It is done to reinstate and maintain circulation. (Dorland, 28th ed)
Sciatica
A condition characterized by pain radiating from the back into the buttock and posterior/lateral aspects of the leg. Labor Pain
