Fetal Penile Length and Corpus Cavernosum Length - Normal Measurement Via Ultrasound
Hypothesis: Measurement of fetal penis length by ultrasound may be inaccurate when measured from the scrotum to the penile tip. we will provide normal values of penile length measured from the penile tip to the abdominal wall and measuring the corpus cavernosum length.

Medical and Biotech [MESH] Definitions
A birth defect due to malformation of the URETHRA in which the urethral opening is above its normal location. In the male, the malformed urethra generally opens on the top or the side of the PENIS, but the urethra can also be open the entire length of the penis. In the female, the malformed urethral opening is often between the CLITORIS and the labia, or in the ABDOMEN.
A condition characterized by hardening of the PENIS due to the formation of fibrous plaques on the dorsolateral aspect of the PENIS, usually involving the membrane (tunica albuginea) surrounding the erectile tissue (corpus cavernosum penis). This may eventually cause a painful deformity of the shaft or constriction of the urethra, or both.
Inflammation of the head of the PENIS, glans penis.
The double-layered skin fold that covers the GLANS PENIS, the head of the penis.
A nonreassuring fetal status (NRFS) indicating that the FETUS is compromised (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists 1988). It can be identified by sub-optimal values in FETAL HEART RATE; oxygenation of FETAL BLOOD; and other parameters.
The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of the use of both sonographic cervical length (CL) and fetal fibronectin (FFN) on the length of outpatient triage and preterm labo...
The purpose of this study is to determine, by means of DNA and protein analysis, the relationship between DNA and protein profiles and a number of endpoints, which are important for the pa...
Some men complain of changes in the shape or dimensions of their penis after undergoing radical prostatectomy (removal of the prostate) for prostate cancer. Changes in penile dimensions in...
Validate that circulating cell free fetal nucleic acid can be used to identify a direct marker for fetal aneuploidy, particularly fetal Down Syndrome (DS), that is better than surrogate ma...
The most common cause of fetal tachycardia is maternal fever. Fetal tachycardia often precedes the maternal fever, and fetal tachycardia confounds the interpretation of electronic fetal m...
OBJECTIVE: To construct cross-sectional reference range of the penile length during pregnancy, measuring it from the proximal edge of the corpus cavernosum to the tip of the glans penis. METHODS: Feta...
OBJECTIVE: Current reference range values for fetal penile growth are based on length measurements. However, methodologies for measuring penile length differ among studies and from the standard techni...
Experimental animal studies show that measurement of anogenital distance (AGD) and/or penis length may provide lifelong 'read-outs' of foetal androgen exposure during the masculinization programming w...
Concealed penis is a rare congenital disorder most commonly seen in children and the condition and surgical management have been well described. In contrast, there is a paucity of information with reg...
The role of luteinizing hormone (LH) in the regulation of normal reproductive functions in males and females is quite well established. Besides the expression of LH receptors in the target cells in go...
