Biovideo:![]() Keywords:CellThis video has been viewed 482 times on Bioportfolio. Description:Translocation of CRAC-GFP to the plasma membrane following a uniform increase in chemoattractant. CRAC-GFP/crac- cells were observed before and after the addition of a saturating dose of cAMP (1 µM). Frames were captured every 2 s.. As the chemoattractant was added the cell went out of focus. A transient translocation of CRAC-GFP from the cytosol to the plasma membrane occurred in response to chemoattractant addition. A montage of images taken from this movie is presented in Figure 2. Parent et al. Cell 95 Cell JournalCell's Leading Edge highlights not only the most exciting research advances in biology but also the social, political, economic, and ethical concerns surrounding biomedical research worldwide. In keeping with Cell's emphasis on the complete story, Leading Edge article formats allow leading scientists and policy makers to present in-depth, thought-provoking evaluations of important research trends and science policies.
