Founded in 1955, the company is the world's foremost authority for the application of freezing-point depression (FPD) technology. Additional technologies have been developed or acquired, making Advanced Instruments a leading supplier of diagnostic testing systems used by medical and industrial laboratories. In addition to branding products with the Advanced Instruments name, the company designs, develops and markets diagnostic products for Fiske Associates (trademark) and Spiral Biotech, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary).
