ABF - in view
Associated British Foods is a balanced diversified business operating in most of the world's main food markets. Our business straddles primary foods like flour and sugar, animal feeds, and the higher technology, high growth sector of ingredients and oils. The business embraces leading grocery brands and a powerful retail textiles arm, where we have successfully built a name in the UK and Ireland for providing quality merchandise at affordable prices.

Our aim is to concentrate our energies and our expertise on segments of the market where we can establish a leading position. We have disposed of businesses that do not fit this strategic focus and we are actively pursuing acquisitions that will deliver the sort of market presence we seek. As a group we are also constantly searching for better, more efficient and more profitable ways to manufacture foods and ways to transfer our technology to other related sectors. Our watchwords are efficiency, quality, shareholder value and growth
